I got an award! The Liebster Blog Award

I was left a very nice comment on a project I did for easter and a nice lady named Brenna said she selected my blog to receive this award. This is to recognize great blogs who only have 300 or less and maybe we can all help to get everyone some more blog followers. I know I jump around alot and if I enjoy a site I look to see what other sites they may like and check them out! So thank you Brenna for visiting my blog, liking it enough to give me this award. I truly appreciate it. Its late when I posted this so I will add my sites on tomorrow with who I am blessing the award too. Check back and make sure you visit them.
Check Brenna's site out and maybe its a new one for you! Brenna

About the Liebster Award:

This award was created for bloggers who have fewer than 300 followers, but put a lot of love and heart into their work. It is given to bring light to new blogs and its a great way to share blogs that might not otherwise be seen or ones you want to share with others.

As a recipient you must share the love and pay it forward by.

1- Create a post where you blog about the Liebster award and reveal your 3 to 5 blog picks.
2- Let them know you have chosen them by leaving a comment on their blog about the award.
3- Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4- Have the faith that your followers will rally and show their crafty love back out to those you award this to.
5- Have fun!!

I want to thank everyone for taking time to visit my site. If I had one request it is to kindly take the time to leave a comment, if you like the blog become a follower. We all love to get comments. I see some things I have posted getting over 50-60 pages views but i have 3 comments. It just takes a second and if we all took the time to pay it forward this way it would brighten someones day (I know it does mine) and really that is why most of us enjoy crafting because we share it with others. So please try to make a point to do this, it only takes a minute!

Here are the three sites I would like to pay forward to: Please visit them!

Easter Themed Challenges

I whipped up this quick little card for a couple challenges. I personally have to add humor to everything I do if I can. Life is just too chaotic and serious anymore so this is a good way I cope!  I used Create a Critter for the bunny, egg and chick and then used my imagine cartridge "Hopscotch" for the backgrounds. All the items were printed and cut on my imagine except the sentiment I just did in a word program. Of course it was all inked with chestnut (oh surprise...) I used twine from The Twinery in Carribean.

New Owl Item!

My mother sent me a big box of goodies from Indiana just because! I got lots of cute things but wanted to show you one in particular. She knows I love owl things and so she sent me this cute owl photo holder. It is a blown glass one! I love it! I believe she found it at Pier 1. The only thing that would make it better is if it was PINK!  I miss my family!

Volume isn't too good because I forgot to turn it all the way up when I was recording it!!! ha ha rookie here so what do you expect. I will try to get better as I plan to do some imagine videos. Hope you check out this product though. Bo Nash go to "scrapbooking supplies" and watch their videos. They are definitely better, lighting isn't as bad and they have a great accent!! So enjoy!!

My lifes a Beach....

This is a two page layout I just finished but wish I would have had my amazing glitter stuff earlier. I am going to break down and do a video when I get it all out for the next project it amazes me!! No mess and this is great ultra fine glitter and adhesive pen that is marvelous! I bought it all at the scrap expo and can't wait to show you. I never do videos so we will see if I can pull it off but I just have to show you this great product. I wanted Kraft paper and didn't have any so I ended up just using chipboard. I so wish I had kraft paper which I am off to order.....I used mud puddles (Bahama Beach is color) on the sand beach and in the pail and shovel which I have a close up of this. I used alot cause I just don't think alittle would have looked right so not much in those little containers! I used glossy accents in the mask areas to make it look like glass on the goggles. I used create a critter, lifes a beach, H2O, for this layout so alot of switching carts!

Cloud- 4" (create a critter)
Sun- 6" (I think it was create a critter!)
Crab- 2.75" (life is a beach)
Shovel & Pail- 3.5" (H2O)
Standing boy with goggles- 4" (H2O)
Boy with blue shorts- 4" (Lifes is a beach)
Sand Castle- 3"

Twine is from the twinery in "carribean blue"

Mats are (3)- 4 1/2 x 4/12 (blue/green DCWV bright pack)
               (2)- 4 1/2 x 6 1/2

Red Mats- (3)- 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"
                  (2)- 4 1/4" x 6 1/4"

Anything inked was done with chestnut color from colorbox

Kissimmee Scrapbookers??

Is there ANYONE out there in Kissimmee land that scraps???? Please send me a message!
I visited several blogs today and I got my inspiration from Bling Queen. She made an adorable craftroom sign and I wanted to make one for my door. I used SCAL2 for the initial sign size utilizing their basic shapes. I cut it out of a fruit loop box (yes they are my favorite cereal!) and I always have a stock of these. I had bought cardstock somewhere but its way too thick. I put in some DCWV paper I liked with pink and cut the same size and shape to cover the chipboard.

Then over to my imagine and cut from "Cricut Everday" I cut the bug head at 3.5" and the saying 1.7. I used one of the imagine shapes to make a colored piece to put everything on. I cut it at 6.5"

I really need to get a good assortment of everyday ribbon. I have alot of seasonal stuff but really not much in the regular everyday ribbon! I just ordered some twine so I will use that I'm sure alot. Here is the finished product!

Buggy love card

Cricut 360 blog is having a design team call and you were to use something with a bug and lime green! Well I love this card and wanted to enter it so Its getting entered for a chance to be on the team.

I whipped up a quick card tonight. I cut the bug heads at 3.5 and used a color as close to the cricut green as I could on my imagine. The pinkish card base is cardstock from DCWV "nana's kitchen" and the purple paper is from My big idea's paper pack. I made my own sentiment in a word program and inked the white portion with lime pastel from colorbox chalk inks and the pink was inked with the colorbox chalks in orchid pastel. Ribbon is from "celebrate it" from Michaels. I used my imagine to print and cut the bugs. Ok...I'm alittle obsessed with this bug head....I can't help myself!
