Pirate cards

I whipped up quickly two little pirate cards tonight. One I'm sending to my daughter. The one that says pirates don't wear fanny packs! Its kinda an inside joke with my daughter. I have a pic I purposely wore a fanny pack in because it bugged my daughter so I plan to put that pic in this card and mail to her. I think she will get a kick out of it. We both love the pirates of the carribean movies and I guess thats why I went crazy over this imagine cart. The images are just so darn cute. The second card well it was just another one I was playing around with. Now I'm not a professional photography and yes the lighting is bad in my room and so these pics could be better but hey its late here, my back hurts and I just wanted to take the pics!! :)

My friend Jenny sent me the cutest pirate stickers and some dangles that I am planning on working on a layout in the next few days to use them on. She sent me a cartridge and lots of doggie stickers and the cutest borders. She is so sweet!!!

Imaginisce Dino-Roar Mini Album

I won this terrific collection from the Imaginisce blog and I have to admit I was just hoarding it for some reason. I decided last night I was making this little album. I do not have any boys in the family but thought it was so cute.

I have to say that I have ALOT of paper and Imaginisce paper cut like butter in my cricut. I haven't had any other paper cut like this cut, it was fantastic. I inked everything with colorbox chestnut brown ink. I made the album in SCAL2. I welded each letter and cut paper for each page and then went back and cut out the letters separately also to add dimension to each letter. The album cover is 5x5 and the last page ended up being about 6.75" I believe. I have tons of the stickers left for future project but I used most of the paper!

Hope you enjoy!

Updated Furbabies Book w/Photos!

I finally finished the entire book including adding the photos. I have so many projects (all of them! except for this one!) that I complete but never put photos on it! I know I posted this before but the paper was a pack from S.E.I called "park buddies" and I loved it! Came with some really cute tags to use also! I was doing alot of things specifically for a challenge and I have decided I will not do anything else unless it is useful to me or my family and I can put photos on it!! Lets see if I can stick to that! Well here is the finished product including pics of my babies Max and Coco. I have to tell my hubby I need a new camera. This one is really pretty new but it just doesn't take good close up pics! So I'm giving it away and getting another one!!

Friday the 13th Blog Hop

Thanks for joining us for our Friday the Thirteenth blog hop!

You should have arrived here from  Laurel's blog. And thank you Flaunt It Friday for letting me be a part of it.

My project for this hop will be a layout first. The hop ends on the 15th so stayed tuned for more projects from the "Happy Hauntings" cartridge. It was easy since this is another one of my favorite cartridges. I have to say that some of the cuts were very time consuming to get all the little parts removed that cut but didn't completely come off when I removed from mat such as the mansion....I set for a long time and pulled off window's that were stilling hanging on! And don't get me started on how much time and patience you needed with the gate since it would be easy to rip. But I love this gate.

I inked it with copper color box ink to give it an aged look. My witch I used my new and I must say fabulous purchase from the scrapbox expo of glitters and adhesive system they have and there is such a difference using this then how I used to do it. Nice smooth glitter area and nice coverage without glue lines. I glittered up the witches face, hands and cape. I added a small amount on top of the tombstones and also on the gate sign. The paper is from K and Company paper stack the swirls are glitter. I also used a few little dimensional embellishments from K and Company such as the border strip at the bottom and the little skull. Added a little journaling tag and photo mats. Used some cute black twine from the twinery. Hope you enjoy the project!
Here is my first day project!

2nd day project is a mini album!

2nd furbabies Album for my mom

I made a second album slightly different for my mother. I know my camera really stinks so some of the pictures are not the greatest. I am going to get another camera at some point. This one is a good camera overall but stinks when it comes to close up photos! And that is about all I need to take so need to get a better one for that.

GOT TO BUY MORE RINGS AND RIBBON SO THIS IS LOOSE PAGES!!
