Handmade Halo New Goodies....I'm on the new Design team!!!

WOWSER I got a package from my new wonderful friend in Australia...Corinne. She is such a spunky great new friend and now I  will be having a new adventure being on the design team for her wonderful store featuring handmade embellishments and unique scrapbooking items. She sent me a package with alot of the items she carries to get started and what a haul it is!! I will post again later more on each item but wanted to share with you the quick pics I took of some of the goodies. There is lots of great laser cut chipboard, wonderful wooden buttons, beautiful flowers, birds etc embellishments and glass pebbles. She sent me the prettiest butterfly necklace that I will photograph later as well. My camera sucks so I hope these don't turn out too bad. I am going to borrow the very expensive camera I got one year for my daughter for Christmas that she doesn't use cause she doesn't have the time so I will learn to use it!!

Please take the time to visit Corinne store Handmade Halo, you won't be disappointed because its unique items that you don't find elsewhere. She is also helping out people with disabilities by hiring them to help make the items. She has a very kind heart so lets support her!

Cricut 360 Challenge #8 Relax....

Relaxing is one of the hardest things for me and most everyone else. Trying to forget the issues you are dealing with on a daily basis and just free your mind. My mind is not easy to free let me tell you. I'm an "over thinker" and its running even when I'm trying to shut it down!

This week I wanted to pull out an older cartridge I hadn't used yet so that is what I did. Since I love me some car decals etc. I thought this kinda looks alot like those images but with my favorite subject matter...Pups! So I used Paper Pups.

Click on pictures for bigger view

I cut the dog at 1.5"
"Relax" was cut at 1.75"
Cardstock I used was from my favorite wait a minute....wait a minute....OH you guessed it Cosmo Cricket. Its called "Lil' Man: Dapper Dan" I love the colors in it and the back I used to cut a small strip for middle of the card. It was about 1.5" x 6 and then added brown twine and red twine from the twinery.
I used my BoNash foils for the puppies nose.
Hope you like it!!

Now head over to cricut 360 blog to join us in the challenge and win some great prize!!!!

Cricut 360 Challenge #7 YEE HAW!!

Thanks for stopping by my humble blog! Todays Cricut360 Challenge was to do something with a western theme. Oh boy was this the hardest challenge for me. I'm not really into western things, don't own any cartridges with western items on it so WHOOO I really had to search for something on this one. I think it turned out pretty cute but....hey did I tell you how much I love the car decals and the cricut decals carts! Well I used my Cricut Expression 2 and cricut decals cart that is preloaded to make my little cowboy and cowgirl. I cut about 4 images for the girl so that I could cut it apart and add colors to various parts on her such as her dress, face etc. I used my cricut imagine to print a page of flesh colored paper since I didn't own any.

All the details are below for the sizes. Hope you enjoy it. I used my awesome BoNash glitters (no mess seriously and coverage is awesome!)

Cowboy and Cowgirl- Cricut Expression 2 Cricut Decals cut at 3.5"
Horse- Create a Critter cut at 3"
Glittered up parts with my BoNash Glitter
Googly eyes
Background paper is Cosmo Cricket (oh you know how I heart them) and its the Line "Jumping Jacks"
Red twine from the twinery
**I think I had said this before but Scenic Road had a grab bag of 50 double sided sheets of Cosmo Cricut for like $7.99. They always have grab bags and have one now with My minds eye paper (which I double heart them) you should check it out!
There is always a great prize to win so please visit cricut360 to join in on our challenges!

Cricut 360 Challenge #6 Feeling HOT HOT HOT

CRICUT 360 CHALLENGE #6
This is an easy challenge for me as I live in the sunny state of Florida where its HOT HOT HOT all the time. We have had over 90 degree temps since first of April. We enjoy swimming, and have a pool out back but who doesn't LOVE water parks! We just recently took our family that was visiting to Wet & Wild and man was it fun. I may be old....er (48) but let me tell you I can do a water slide! I love the feeling of going down the slides it tickles my stomach and my family always laugh at me because instantly I am screaming!

I have to say I am really scared of heights but I still manage to haul my fat butt up the stairs to go down these raft rides. I love the ones that at least four of us can fit in because its so much fun to see the kids enjoying themselves (ok us old....er kids really seem to enjoy them too!) So I decided to do a 12 x 12 layout using the solutions cart H2O. Its quick and easy since there really isn't too much layering with these cartridges. I used my imagine so I could pick the colors and print all the layers quick and easy.

I have two picture square that are 3 x 4 and both papers for them was from a mat stack DCWV called mango frost.

I cut the lifeguard at 3" and used the RGB code 255-0-46 for the red
The girl was cut at 3" as well and the orange is 255-179-41
Both the lifeguard and girl flesh tones were RGB code 255-222-194

The slide was cut at 6" and the light blue is RGB code 135-206-250
Dark blue section is 0-191-255

Phrase was cut at 4.5" and I just used the stock orange color that came up on imagine

I have several blogs I have visited and printed off RGB codes for papertray ink papers, stampin up and disney colors as well as others. I will compile a list for you all of the blogs or maybe the link for pdf files once I wrangle them all up again so if you have an imagine it REALLY helps. I printed the sheets off, put them in sheet protector and then store close to my imagine so anytime I want to make something I can quickly find colors to use for them. I am LOVING my imagine! Get one....they are super cheap right now! I have seen them for under $140 on ebay brand new....what a steal! I didn't get mine that cheap and I'm sure there are tons of others who didn't but I never regret my purchase and I am learning so much with it.
