Seashells by the Seashore

Today I am posting on Timeless Twine and we are teaming up with "Robins Nest" all month long.

I am using the Dew Drops from "Robin's Nest" and I used silhouette Studio files to make this cute little guy collection shells etc.

Now let me explain to you what this pole thingy is. I am calling it the Beach Shower! You know when you go to the beach there is showers to clean off the sand from yourself before you get to your car. We all know there is still alot of sand that follows but these showers are helpful!

I used the Cherry Red Timeless Twine for this project. Many people ask me what I adhere my twine with and I use Glossy Accents. I have a little applicator bottle with a fine point that I put my glossy accents in and it makes a nice fine line that I can do alot with the control.

A scrappers got to eat!

Today my post is not scrapbook related but a girl has got to eat! I am a bzzagent and got the pleasure of once again getting some Krogers Private Selection products. Here is my photo!

I have already made the Filet Mignon with the Peppercorn rub. I had it with Baked potato and it was YUMMY!!! This White Clove Garlic Petite Loaf is awesome and I am still eating on it! The preserves I will try for breakfast tomorrow. My hubs tried the 100% maple syrup which he loved. And we buy this panko all the time. Awesome products!

Retro Birthday Card

A young friend of ours asked me if I would make a card for her to give her mother for her birthday. Well of course I couldn't pass up the chance to make something to actually give to someone!! So I once again pulled out the Tri-fold card idea and used SVGcuttingfiles.com "Retro Rainey" file. I purchased several of her peeps and just haven't had a chance to use them and I thought this would be perfect. I used Echo Park papers from Sweet Girl &  Carta Bella's True Friends. I think they went well with the retro style/colors I was going for. I also used a few files from Silhouette studio and then I just used the text tool and created additional words that matched the "Retro" from the cutting file I had. I used the font Turkey Sandwhich. I am in love with that font. It cuts well cause it is chunky (like me) So here is my creation!
PS I do realize now I misspelled YOUR....go figure! But guess what...I am not changing it! Its glued down and I am not going to ruin this card!

Get your motor running!

Hello peeps!

This entire month Timeless Twine is teaming up with Robin's Nest showcasing some products of theirs!! Please make sure to visit their blog and store for some inspiration and goodies!

I had some black, orange and some red paper with glitter sent to me and this is the project I made utilizing those papers. I found a motorcycle svg file (LORDY that was a hard little thing to piece together and PS don't tell anyone but there is a few little missing parts!) I knew that would go nicely with the paper selection. I used the Tuxedo Black, Pumpkin Orange and Cherry Red Twines
Vrooom Vrooom!!

Something for Dad

Some of you know that my father has had a lot of heath issues lately. He has had multiple heart attacks and triple bypass surgery in the past. He suffered another BIG heart attack per the doctor and I am spending as much time with him as a possibly can. I even bought a house close to his so we could move closer to him and also my daughter. I made this boat box for my father because he loves to fish and I was going to spend the day with him and thought it would be cute. So yesterday I spent the day with him. We didn't do much but I picked him up and we just went and grabbed something to eat and then walked the mall just a little so he could get some exercise but I was worried about him over doing it so I watched him like a hawk!

I used my favorite Timeless Twine in the Natural, Olive and Chocolate Chip!
