All my spooky friends

Hello! Long time no talkie!! I am on Timeless Twine today showing a pre halloween warm up!!! I love to craft halloween stuff it is my all time favorite!! I also like to scrap monster's! One of my favorite cricut cartridges...yes dust is collecting on them now that the cameo is in the HOUSE! is Bump in the night and my favorite Halloween one is Happy Halloween.

I wanted to use several colors of the twine so I used
Aqua
Tuxedo Black
Olive Green
Raspberry Pink

Get yours here!!

I also used the stamp set from My Creative Time called "Treats for my Sweet"

I loved these little googly eyes with the eye lashes cause yes my monsters are girl monsters!! They are bloggy friends who don't get together much but when they do watch out some monster slime will be flying....or beer/wine really but that slime was code for the good stuff! :)

Fishy Tails

Today I am guest designing for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons!!
I used the cute set "Fishy Friends" for my projects. I knew right away that was the set for me since we just recently spent a month for vacation in Florida and my hubs took up fishing. He actually caught a bonnethead shark (its in the hammerhead family) and then he caught the weirdest looking fish that I found out was a Cow Fish (which is in the blow fish family) so this set was perfect!! I love the way the shark and fishes turned out!

My first project I used the print and cut with my cameo and filled the base of the card and the layer of the card with "Summer Brights" Circles & Dots that is in the store. I used the offset to create a cutout in my accent layer so that you could see the paper from underneath and accent my shark! The twine is from Timeless Twine.

My second project is a quick little birthday tag. I used a shape I had in my library. I created an inset and then changed my line style to look like stitching. The sentiment I think is cute the font is one of my favorites called "turkey sandwich"!

Third project is my layout. I used the print and cut again for the backgrounds for my pictures. All from the Summer Brights. Now I am not a layout gal I don't seem to be able to pull them off but I still wanted to make one for my hubs pictures. He is so cute he was so happy to have caught these fishes! I touched the shark it was like velvet not slimy like I had envisioned. I did not touch that ugly fish though!
See I really don't know how to layout a layout ha ha!
Whatever though it looks good to my husband so that is all that matters.

Thank  you Lisa for letting me Guest Design!!!

Surprise puppy!

Today I made this cute little "surprise box" I had wondered up on this tutorial making this box and decided I would make a silhouette file to make the box. I made the entire thing from scratch in Sil DE software and it cut beautifully. My shelves are probably a little more spread out but overall I think it looks great. I created decorative layers as well. I am going to use this is the monthly challenge for SVGcutting files. I just got my craft room back together and so I have just been crafting the past few days. I am gearing up for a big project (already completed my prototype!) for my favorite Timeless Twine company!!

On this I used the Chihuahua Pup from SVGcuttingfiles.com. I loved this little doggie as soon as I seen it I had to buy the file. The challenge was to make anything but use the inspiration photo for colors. Tropical colors was the theme of the photo which I LOVE so it was pretty easy for me to figure out the colors I wanted to use. Usually that is the hard part. I used printable paper on the layers. The yellow polka is from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons (brights) and the floral was a purchased collection from Jessica Sprague.com  Designs by Dani Girl Crazy. I don't think my pictures are showing true to color as it is evening here. The box base is a real bright fushia pink!!

inspiration photo

I love the way it turned out. I used a cute Twine bow made from Aqua Twine from of course Timeless Twine! I also made a little tie to keep the box together. I really like the way it turned out!

Shutter Card Addicted

Well I think I am back so you should see post coming from me now! I have a Guest Design Spot coming up with Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon so be sure to stop by then.

I seem to be addicted to these shutter cards. They take quite a while to get done. I wanted to just make something since I just got my craft room up and running. Everything is not completely done yet but the process is getting there. I have moved more in the past 6 years than all my life. I guess hubby retiring made that happen. I told him this is it. I am not moving again....ever....I do plan to look for a small condo to buy in florida for us to go to since we downsized our home ALOT that was in the plan. But no moving anything there I will just get stuff there cause moving is CRAZY expensive.

Ok now on to the card I made. I am loving SVGcuttingfiles.com svg files and the people are from the "Young Love" set. I used papers from Carta Bella "True Love" collection. I didn't add my favorite thing in the world which is twine! How did I forget that! I think by the time I got ready to assemble it I was so fricking tired I put it together and just was done with it. As I said it is very time consuming.

I am currently working on a haunted house shutter. I am making it myself from various elements and files so I hope it turns out.

Thanks for stopping by!!
