Easel Card Memory Box

I am on Drphilscraps today and I am sharing another 3d project. This one is a cute little easel card box. I thought you could put something special to save in it. I used the Workshop on the go "Skylark" collection. I used the little elements from the collection to hold up the card portion and on the little drawer. The sentiment is also from the collection. I just cut it apart so it would fit on the area I had for the sentiment cause it is super small. I used Olive Green Timeless Twine for my banner

Twine Flower Tutorial

Today I am on Timeless Twine and I don't have a project because I was to do a Technique. I thought the easiest way to share how to make these twine flowers was with a video. I am still pretty "green" when it comes to making videos and I had some editing issues but hopefully you will get some useful information from it!!

This video will show you how to make some twine flowers and I have a picture at the beginning of these and another at the end. I also added a cute project at the end of Isha's that I just shared so you can see again all the awesome things you can make with twine. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and hope you enjoy it!

Cardz TV "Anything Goes" Blog hop

Thank you for joining us for Cardz TV "Anything Goes" blog hop. You should have arrived here from Jeri's blog. I will have the line up below for you as well.

We were to use the new release stamps Mary came out with and I chose to use the "Birds and Bees" set. I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Now I did forget to do a few little things but at least my plan worked for the most part! :)

I created this little bee girl from a picture I found on the internet. I imported it into my program
but it didn't come out well so I set out to create the file. I think for the most part it turned out. I need to tweak a few things. I do like the way it turned out though.

I must have stamped the sentiment 20 times because I wanted to try it on vellum, vellum over cardstock layered, embossed and then just stamped. I went with this white embossing on cardstock. The embossing doesn't look white though it appears a bit cream colored but I think it works good. I just used a banner file I had a chopped off part of it. I measured the sentiment to see what size I needed it to be. I used a tiny stapler I have to attach it.

I used my micron pen to make some dashes around the card. The base is just white cardstock but the yellow piece I cut some hexagon's out to make it look a little honeycombed. I am in love with her. She is a Kawaii inspired bee.

BLOG CANDY ALERT!!!!
Mary is generous and is offering two stamps sets of the winners choice (Picked by random.org)  You must follow Cardz TV blog and leave a comment to be eligable. She has some really cute sets!

Cute as a bee

Today I am on Cardztv blog and we were to do something "spring" themed and I wanted to use Mary's adorable new set "Birds and Bees". I made another file based on a pic I found on the internet. Pics are just not good enough to trace so I re-created it.

I like how it turned out though. I did create a face for it but I decided after cutting it all I would utilize some of those peachy faces I have. So busted out two new sets. I will list them at the bottom of the post.

I created a shaped card using a flower I found and welded to make the shape. I don't own any copics (I know right....but honestly I don't know whether I would get my moneys worth from them cause I don't color much) So I used Derwent Inktense pencils. I did use a clear wink of stella pen on the eyes too but seems you can never capture that sparkle on camera.

Please join us for the weekly challenge. You could win a set of Mary's stamps. So head on over!

New flair

I just finished a few more new sets of flair. If you would like any please send me a message.

Simple elegant Card

I am on Dr. Phil Scraps again today and I whipped up a very simple and quick card to give to my mother using the Skylark Workshop on the Go. Last post I made a 3d birdhouse with it which I thought turned out pretty with these papers. I cut out the stripped banner from the paper and then popped on one of the elements that came with the kit.

The sentiment is stamped with the stamp set that came with the workshop on the go as well. Simple but yet very pretty.

Timeless Twine 3D

Today is my day at Timeless Twine and I am doing a 3d project. We did a whole mix up month so everyone didn't have their usual days and definitely didn't have their usual kind of project. We mixed it up by having them sign up and there were catagories which made it nice because some of the girls would be challenged to step out of their comfort zone. Well I got 3d and also a technique that will be next week. I am ok with whatever and I love to do 3d so it wasn't a stretch for me. Now with that being said I decided to use Stacy's new stamp set "Oh Snap" and I had it in my head to use SVGcuts 3d camera.

Well that is what I did...but let me tell you this....it was certainly a challenge. This is NOT an easy file in my opinion and mine is alittle wonky but overall I was happy to complete it. I really want to try and do another one and it will help that I already did it once so therefore the next one should be less wonky ha ha. I used Timless Twine's "Key Lime Sorbet" which I think went great with my colored accent pieces

Then I also decided to go ahead and make a cute photo box to store photo's in and it is a Lori Whitlock box. I used pattern paper from SNAP CLICK SUPPLY (Jessica Sprague) from Cosmo Cricket "Salt Air" wowser I love these papers. Stop by and check out all the wonderful papers you can get and just print them yourself! I used Timeless Twine "Raspberry Lemonade" which matched so nicely.

3d birdhouse

Today I am on Drphilscraps. com and this month I am working with the Skylark Workshop on the go.
I decided (with a little help from my friend) to create a 3d birdhouse. This collection is perfect for a project like this. I love the turquoise colors in this collection. On the front I used an bird embellishment from the collection. I really like the way it turned out.

APRIL SPECIAL!!!!! Cricut Lovers will want to get in on this!

Bunny Love

Today we are on another Cardz TV challenge and this one is easter. Although the sentiments I used are not an easter set you can see they work fine to create a cute easter card.

I used the set "Simply Said" . It is really versatile. The bunny is a silhouette file that I copy and pasted the largest layer and then welded two of them together. I popped up the layers and added some pink chalk on the cheeks. Please join us for this challenge and win a set of stamps!

Ok clearly I messed up on matching my colors on my frames for pics!

Create Inspiration Party Mini Box Tag Album

Welcome to the Create Inspiration Team's April Party!
We are so excited to share some DIY Spring and Easter themed projects with you today. Before we jump into our featured tutorials, we have an exciting announcement....Jessica Sprague's new sister site, Snap Click Supply Company, is now officially LIVE! We love her new site, dedicated to bringing you the best collection of digital designs on the market.

This month we are doing spring projects and although mine may not be necessarily be spring themed I used spring colors to make an adorable little cigarette style box tag album. I created the cigarette box in my silhouette program. It was a labor of love and I went through some paper that day!

I just love this little box and I had made one a few days ago for another project and just thought it would be a great tutorial. I plan to give this box to one of my team members Tammy who is going to be getting a new grand baby and its a boy. I really hope she loves it once she gets it. The list of files I used will be at the bottom of my post.

I first of course started with my box template that you will see in screen shot below. Made some little polaroids and added the elements from Echo Park's Bundle of Joy-Boy Collection

Added a cute shaped tag from Samantha Walker and then also cut a few more tags with elements from the same Echo Park collection and papers. My insert for the box is on the mat as well. Popped in some flair for my button I was going to make. I made a few extra's from various collections to use for later since I was making buttons.

Here is a pic of my cuts for my box, tags and polaroids. I just love those little polaroids!

Close up of the elements

The main portion of the box I used a paper from Carina Gardner's Baby Mine (this collection is adorable) my little elephant on my flair button is also from Carina's Baby Mine collection. I didn't have 4 white brads so I added 2 green ones on the bottom. Note to self...buy more colored brads! I tied some Timeless Twine Olive Green & Lemonade twine around all the tags with a knot to keep the tags all together. Made a little bow out of the Timeless Twine Lemonade for the top of the box. I love this little box! Its going to a great home

Supplies used:
Bazzill White Cardstock (to do all my printables)
Flair
White Jelly pen
assorted brads
