Twine Storage or Gift Box

I am on Timeless Twine today and I am sharing a cute little box for storing your twine. It has the hole for the twine and everything! I love it! It would even be a great box to give as a gift with a roll of Timeless Twine of course in it!

I used Carta Bella paper from All Hallow's Eve (you know I love halloween and couldn't resist) with the Black Kraft color it is PERFECT~ Cackle Cackle. The file is from the silhouette store and it is made by Jamie Cripps

I could see making these boxes in multiple colors to coordinate with my twine. It would make it look even prettier right!

Stop over and check out the new stamps Stacy has and all the yummy packaging and twine that is in the store. It makes a great way to pretty up a project or gift!

Exciting News!!!

Today I am sharing some news I have known about for a while and have been BUSTING to hold it in!! I was asked to design for Carina Gardner!! I LOVE HER products. She has svg files, digital papers, kits and digital products, fabric, dinnerware. She also has some classes which you can find on her site. I first found out about her while working with Jessica Sprague and started using a lot of her papers and just loved them. She is also the Creative Director for Carta Bella. I seriously have not come down from the cloud I am on because of this opportunity.

She has alot of super cute svg's currently on the Silhouette online store as well as her own site.

I can't wait to share my first project but I have to say I am super nervous about it because I want it to be really good. I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Jessica Sprague and never dreamed I would even be selected for that and then now Carina Gardner.

I hope you all take the time to visit her website and take a look at her beautiful products. She is amazing.

Jessica Sprague {Snap Click Supply Co} Project

Today we are all sharing projects made for Jessica Sprague and Snap Click Supply Co and a special Sampler kit with a variety of  great designers products in the kit. The kit was offered for free with a $5 purchase! It is not hard at all to spend $5 on Snap Click Supply because of all the awesome designers on the site.

The great thing is all your favorites are in one place and you can print them anytime you wish to use them!

My project with the kit is a Folio style album. I love anything camera related and this kit had alot of camera's, cute sayings related to taking pictures etc. Its a great variety of products.

I started out with a piece of cardstock 10" x 12" and I scored .5" all the way around the edges and then I also scored down the center of the 12" length. Fold all the scored sides and I chamfer the corners to make the corners fold much better and cleaner.

Fold over all the scored edges and use double sided sticky tape to adhere them down.
I then selected the ribbon I wanted to use as the closure and adhered it with atg tape down the center of the cover.

Then I printed and adhered the papers i was using to cover the front and inside.

I used alot of the embellishments to make pockets out of them. I made a hinge for inside to make a additional page/pocket for more tags.
I honestly made fast pockets. I just brought in the elements from the kit and print and cut. Just used a thin strip of glue down sides and bottom and let that dry. Then poof it was a pocket! Its a pocket in a pinch!! I made several custom button flair with the elements as well. Did I mention I am addicted to making button flair? LOVE THEM!
Here is a close up pics of buttons:

I have so many pictures its really hard to decide what to show. Here is a few pictures of the inside.

Just Chillax

Today I am on Timeless Twine and I am sharing a card made using the Simply White and a pop of Lemonade!

Since I used the polka dot paper I needed something really plain to put up against it and the Simply white was perfect.

Although i would have slapped a pink bow on this puppy I didn't because I thought with the red and white polka dot paper the pink would not look right. Isn't this dog just the cutest! I would have said the breed but honestly I don't remember how to spell it and I am just too lazy at this point to go check the spelling ha ha LOL!  I created the shape just from skewing a rectangle. The sentiment if from Paper Smooches. I think it was called Slang.

Thanks for stopping by to check it out. On the 18th we will be having a "Photo Fun" challenge and you will be able to link up your projects so stay tuned for that!! It will be fun!

Ariana Gift box

NOTE: Carolyn left a comment but I cannot find a way to contact her. FYI this is a silhouette file, so sorry for forgetting to reference it. I try not to emphasize that since this was a CTMH DT project.

I am sharing a quick and easy little gift box for Drphilscraps.com today. I used the Ariana Workshop on the go. I probably would add a cute little tag but I was under a time crunch this week to get this done. I love that this paper looks like fabric. I think that is one of the reasons that draws me to this particular piece in the collection. It really looks like fabric. I like the soft colors as well.

Tied the box with some Gray twine to keep it shut and just popped on a cute bow embellishment from the collection as well.

It came together in minutes. Great for a last minute gift or to use a a party favor box.

Ariana Workshop Card

I am on Drphilscraps today sharing a card made with the new Ariana Workshop on the go. This month I will be using this collection on all my projects. I used a few different pattern papers on this one and then I used my sewing machine and adding some stitching. I had other ideas for the card but I really wanted to use one of these cute little bow embellishments today. The stamp set is called "Joyful Wishes"
