Snappy Card

I am on Timeless Twine today and I wanted to make something camera related. I love all the camera papers that are out, I love aqua, red and yellow together for a pop so this is a combo of all the things I love.

I used a file from My Scrap Chick and what I love about this is that you can give this card to someone and they can utilize it as a photo frame afterwards! A picture could go behind the polaroid area.

I used the colors I mentioned above. I cut all the basic solid colors out of AC textured Cardstock. The little camera paper is from Amy Tangerines plus one paper pad my sweet friend Brianna sent me for my birthday. Well she sent me a bunch of goodies that I am hoarding. She knows I love halloween so she got me a mega halloween bundle from We R Memory keepers I cannot wait to use (If I can bring myself to do it)

I used Cherry Red and Lemonade Twine to make it splash color across the white paper. I love how it turned out. Its a bit harder to photograph and capture the entire thing well but hopefully you can see it well enough. I also used a Bella Creationz stamp set called "Oh Snap" which is super cute. She has several stamp sets out now so you should check them out. If you are a planner person there are stamps for that too!

Photo box decoration

As you are reading this I am on a beach somewhere basting in the warmth of the sun! But i am still showcasing projects for this month. Today I am on Timeless Twine and I made this crazy looking decoration. I had originally planned to make a kraft box to put it on and I think it would have made it stand out more but I just couldn't get it all done. I liked the aqua/black combo. I made a button flair that mimicked the graph design on the aqua paper underneath it. I decided to just make it for a decorated up photo box. I used a pretty pink posh photo strip die for the area below it and even though you can't tell it that is silver foil paper behind it. I also used the silver foil on one of the sqiggly arrows. The angle I took the picture does not show it off but the button catches so much glare I had to leave it like this. I could take 100 pictures and still not be happy with them and I can not afford the time right now so I took the ones I thought looked good and kept them.

I layered this with lots of texture. The kraft paper is a more textured kraft that I normally use and then I cut some leaf shaped burlap. That stuff frays like crazy. I popped some curls of Timeless Twine Natural twine behind it to add to the texture. I might end up cutting those tails down on the black flags but for now it is done!
